Detroit: Become Human Will Be A 2018 Release

In an interview with GameSpot, eccentric director David Cage confirmed that his latest game will not be arriving until 2018. The story-driven adventure, which is a PlayStation 4 exclusive, has been featured in both this year and last year‘s Sony E3 presentations. Many players wondered whether the game might indeed launch this year, although no release date was attached to the gameplay trailer shown at this year’s press event.

Speaking to Oscar Dayus in the interview, published this morning, Cage stated “We’ve not announced a date, but it’s going to be next year.”

Sadly, it looks like Aston is going to have to wait just a little longer to live out his android rebellion fantasies. To see what all the fuss is about, you can watch this year’s E3 trailer below.
